hi, i follow this forum more than regularly but do not post much as i have nothing to add and usually everything is covered before i even read it, but like most, i just enjoy the read and to stay current. great site fellas and very nice cars. anyways, i noticed that quite a few people are having problems with the Nismo 555cc injectors and a belief that the 10% ethanol now at most pump stations may be effecting them. i was curious of what the recommendation is to do. should one who is considering upgrading his injectors just spend the extra cash and have his lower plenum machined and install a 95 fuel rail with 740cc injectors? i also know that Border sells a kit and Z1 carries a PE 850cc kit. the PE seems to be the most reasonable price wise and if memory serves me right PE, Sard, etc injectors are all the same injector. i am also worried that such a high volume injector may be over kill for my build. i plan to go with Z1 GT525's, so my power won't go over 500rwhp and probably not even close to there on pump gas. sorry for the long post but i just want to be clear on what im asking. thanks. hopefully my sig works. :/

Sorry about the dirty Z and alley picture. This is the farthest the car has made it out of the garage in a little over a year. :) |
